If you need anything at all please feel free to ask and I'll explain anything you need as best as I can. If you're having a lot of trouble please send me a PM (or Private Message). To do that select "Messages" on the top tab, enter "Admin" for the recipients, type your message and hit "Create Message" to send your PM. You've now successfully spammed my inbox.
If you're new to Proboards please take a moment to read the following paragraph to associate yourself with the mechanics of the site.
This is an open forum, anyone who joins is free to create content. If there is something you find that you would like to share with everyone you can the freedom to do so. First you'll need to understand the layout of the forum. From the main page there is a list of "Categories" these are divided and given a main heading with a black bar. Below these are "Boards" these boards can then be divided into subcategories. It is within these subcategories that "Threads" (or Posts) are made. There are also several other features to the site, the four main ones are a Calendar where you can view key dates in Alabama's upcoming season as well as the birthdays of those members who wish to disclose them. A Member's list where you can easily access a list of our members to contact them through private messages more easily. A Profile Tab, where you can manage your security settings, add a picture, signature that will appear at the bottom of your posts and many other things. Finally there is a "Shoutbox" at the bottom of the webpage, here you can chat with other members and carry on more "fleeting" conversations to better acquaint yourself with the other members of the site.
I'll walk you through creating a post about Nick Saban's haircut.
1. First you'll need to determine where this topic should go, since it's a general topic the best place for it is under the Discussion Board, in the General Discussions Board.
2. You'll then click General Discussion Board and select, "Create New Thread" from the next page.
3. Type in a subject: "Nick Saba's hair", add a poll or event (will be added to the calendar) or attachment (picture, video, ect.) and when you are done writing your message select "Create Thread" at the bottom of the page. You've now created your first thread.
Feel free to join in any and every conversation. And again if you need any help, just let me know.
